I was surprised to learn that my ballot in no way identifies me- the voter of those votes.
How can votes be verified if my name is not attached to my ballot? If a re-count is necessary or a cross check with another state to see if a college student voted by absentee in their home state and then voted “day of” in our state while at college needs to be investigated.
I can’t get on an airplane without my ID and a boarding pass that matches with my name. Seems my ballot should Identify the voter not just that they “checked in”. Why can’t in todays technology I can go online and verify that my vote was counted.
Lastly, why do we not register with our THUMBPRINT? Every person has their own unique identification by their individual thumbprint. You place it on a scanner and it verifies you and your citizenship matching your registration by thumbprint.

Seems to make too much sense.
