There is a lot of drama in the election offices these days. In February, the Berkeley voter registration and election office had a board meeting that went south quickly depriving citizens the right to speak up about their concerns regarding elections. As is often the case, the agitators show up to shut down any critical thinking or questions.

Election Reform Bills:
Rob Harris introduced and is sponsoring these 3 election bills but is concerned that they will not be able to get out of the judiciary committee. Apparently our legislators only want to pass election reform that gives them more power. See how Bill 3695 usurps power by giving the SC State Executive Committee the ability to establish rules for registration and vetting of party candidates for office. This bill is not the ideal closed primary bill. Here is a comparison of the other Closed Primary bills.

Many of the precinct delegates were unable to run for county board positions or state delegate positions due to the new party rule that a registered elector and Republican party member must have voted in 2 out of the last 3 primaries.
