Today Representative Rob Harris will be trying to amend bill S406. Why? This bill allows counties to upload their data from the early voting period and the absentee ballots up to the election management system starting at 7 am election day. What exactly will the process be? Why do they need these early? they claim it is to save time but it only takes 30 second per flash drive to upload. So say for example there are 7 early voting centers and 2 county absentee tabulators, that would take no longer than 10 minutes. so you must ask yourself, why? Why do they want these results uploaded early? And, it this process is becoming so complex, expensive and time consuming perhaps we should go back to ONE DAY OF VOTING WITH HANDCOUNTED PAPER BALLOTS!!!
Please pray for Rob, a good outcome, and perhaps some strong election integrity amendments to be added to this bill.
This is also why we need access to CVRs. They provide a digital audit trail that traditional audits don't provide. They examine the votes over time during the entire election as opposed to the traditional audit which just provides the end result (one point in time).
If you read Jeff O'Donnell's report “Fingerprints of Fraud” he finds that the same statistically impossible pattern of votes occurs across states, counties, and even machine manufacturers. That is concerning. Our state legislators need to get more serious about adopting good election reform bills, not bills that move us in the opposite direction.
Please call your senators and house members today. Tell them to not vote for S406 unless there are substantial election reform amendments added including access to CVRs. Thanks.
